Wallet and network

Select Sign In and continue with email, Google, X, Discord, or an external wallet. Privy creates an embedded EOA for every player, including players who sign in with an external wallet. Glyph uses that embedded address as the Game Wallet.

The app signs the SIWE login message automatically after the wallet is ready. Game actions then use typed signatures or transactions from the Game Wallet without an extra wallet confirmation for every move.

The Game Wallet is not the same address as the External Wallet used to sign in.

Wallet Purpose
Game Wallet Holds game USDC, owns Fighters, signs game actions
External Wallet Optional login method and source for funding

Always copy the address from Game Wallet Address when sending USDC directly to the game. Sending to the external login address does not fund the in-game wallet. The private key export is available under Settings; anyone with that key can control the wallet and its assets.

Glyph runs on Base (chain ID 8453) and uses Base USDC. The active network appears at the bottom of the wallet panel. When sending funds from an External Wallet, confirm that it is using Base before you transfer.

Normal Privy game transactions request app gas sponsorship. When that sponsorship policy applies, players do not need Base ETH for supported actions. Signature-relay actions, such as Fighter creation and matchmaking, are sent by the game after the Game Wallet signs the request.

Unsupported transaction paths can still report insufficient gas. In that case, the sending Game Wallet needs native ETH on Base.

Fighters, balances, active requests, Rooms, and History belong to the Game Wallet address. Signing in as another account changes that address and loads a different game state. Two Fighters from addresses derived from the same login account are still treated as the same owner if their owner address is the same; they cannot match each other.

Before switching accounts, let any active transaction finish. Glyph allows one wallet operation at a time so overlapping signatures cannot spend the same balance or nonce.
